Desktop unit for automated imaging, counting and data mapping of bacteria colonies on Petrifilm™ plates. The plate reader processes six widely used Petrifilm™ plates: Aerobic count, rapid aerobic count, coliform count, E. coli/coliform count, enterobacteriaceae count and Select E. coli count.
